NYU is like the springboard for my dreams. It's where it all started. Right after graduating, literally the week I graduated from NYU, I got about three offers all in product management. I settled on a job offer from Advent Commerce. I'm working there as the lead product manager. I did see a great success, you know, in NYU alumni. A part of that success is because of the brand-- the name of the university. But the other part is probably the work that we're teaching here. I actually really like the career service on like resume correcting. It helped me because I think the biggest question out of a lot of students mind is you know how to make my resume look way better. They helped me fix my resume over several iterations. They had a couple-- a lot of seminars, a lot of seminars, around how to navigate the international students, H-1B, OBT. Also go to schedule one on one sessions with them. There are alumni events that you can take advantage of. For sure, we have like a newsletter. We have emails that let us know what is happening, and how we can get involved with some of the things going on. It's nice to know that they are there, and that you can always reach back. I was a software engineer before so like switching from software engineer to brand manager I wanted like some career advice, and they helped me on that. Kind of like-- enable us to create this network to alumni's from NYU-- from industry, but also like working with government agencies, and also who work at the university. I feel proud of the part of the NYU Tandon family for sure.
